AGRI-BUSINESS AUTHORITY
Thank you for your interest in the Pike County Agri-Business Authority. We are responsible for
the development and promotion of projects to enhance all areas and phases of agriculture in Pike County.
The term agribusiness refers to the various businesses involved in food production, including farming,
wholesale and distribution, seed supply, farm machinery, agrichemicals, processing, marketing, and retail sales.
The Pike County Agri-Business Authority was created in 1995 to encompass many duties, including educational programs
related to farm and domestic animals and livestock and for the exhibition of Pike County Agriculture and Agribusiness.
The Agri-Business Authority may be involved in many projects and programs to promote agriculture in Pike County.
The Agri-Business Authority meets at 7:00pm the third Tuesday of every month in the
Conference Room of the Farm Bureau building. The meetings are open to the public.
Feel free to contact us with any additional questions or comments.
